Lab Time

  • Same time and place (Curie, Fridays. 2pm - 4.50pm)
  • I’ll be here to:
    • Check-in
    • Offer advice
    • Help troubleshoot / remove blockers
  • Adhoc talks/whiteboarding on topics
    • Apr 3rd: Presentation Skills (45 mins)

Final Presentation

  • Time and place still TBD (w/o Apr 20th)
  • Peers plus some CS faculty
  • Potentially a guest judge or two :)
  • Plan for 15 min presentation/demo + 5 min Q&A
  • More details as we get nearer

First Step: Project Brief

  • What is this?
    • A half-page document on what you plan to create
    • Why? Avoid creating something too simple (that doesn’t score well) or too difficult (that you can’t complete in time)
  • I’d recommend completing before next week
    • Non-graded assignment
    • Talk through in-class - or send via Teams
    • I’ll provide feedback on complexity, time estimate, and links to other projects that might be useful
